As we continue expanding and restoring the full catalog on Beatport, you may temporarily notice some tracks in your playlists showing as unavailable. We know how important playlist reliability is for DJs, and restoring this content is one of our highest priorities.
What’s happening?
We are actively working to add missing catalog content back to Beatport as quickly as possible. During this process, some tracks that existed previously may not yet be available again due to licensing, delivery, metadata, or catalog migration differences.
Our goal is to restore as much content as possible and continue improving playlist completeness over time.
What will unavailable tracks look like?
Unavailable tracks will still remain in your playlists so you do not lose your playlist structure or history. Depending on the DJ software or platform you use, unavailable tracks may:
- Appear greyed out
- Be hidden from view
- Fail to load or play
- Show as unavailable or missing
Can I still find the track?
In many cases, yes.
Sometimes the exact version originally saved in your playlist is unavailable, but another version of the same track already exists on Beatport. This can happen when tracks are re-delivered under:
- A different release
- A different label
- A remastered or updated version
- Alternate metadata or formatting
If a track appears unavailable, we recommend searching manually by:
- Track title
- Artist name
- Mix name
- Label
You may find a replacement version already available in the catalog.
Will these tracks come back?
Many unavailable tracks are being restored as catalog deliveries continue. While we cannot guarantee availability for every track, our teams are prioritizing catalog recovery and ongoing content expansion.
As additional content is restored, some previously unavailable tracks in your playlists may become playable again automatically.
Do I need to rebuild my playlists?
No. Your playlists and unavailable track references will remain intact. As tracks return to the catalog, availability may update automatically depending on the platform and DJ application you use.
We’re continuing to improve playlist completeness
We understand how important consistency and reliability are for DJs preparing sets, maintaining libraries, and performing live. Thank you for your patience while we continue expanding catalog availability.
